They say a week is a long time in footy and East Fremantle put behind them a very long one to overcome a wasteful but brave Peel Thunder by 42 points at New Choice Homes Park. Despite having no access to Fremantle listed players or a Reserves side, the Thunder got within two goals of Perth in Round 1, while the Sharks were torn to shreds by arch rival, South Fremantle.
