Our frames are made entirely in-house in our Johnstown, NY production facility. 22's Reactor is one of these and one of the challenges when reviewing it is to know where to begin.
In addition to our standard raw finish, every No. I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon, and I don’t think it’s one that I’ll ever let go of (but there’s always room for one more in the shed).I was curious about Shimano’s Di2 system, but having no knowledge or experience with it, it was another leap of faith.
Let the dealers see a dirty bike and ride that thing already. Titanium remains a popular material from which to build plush road bikes, and it’s the metal of choice for the Great Divide, from relatively new US-based brand No. We doubt this frame would work nearly as well with heavier components.
I would have made a couple of costly mistakes without his advice, so I would suggest that anyone considering a custom build should get some guidance from an experienced bike mechanic when selecting components.
As is rapidly becoming the default configuration these days, the bike was built with disc brakes and clearance for 34mm-wide tires, but it still retains a race bike-like position and handling characteristics — basically like what pro riders typically use at Paris-Roubaix.But sadly — and rather incredibly, I might add — he still hasn’t ridden it.“I could not afford it at the time, and never owned it. I was really enjoying the sport and had upgraded a few parts but I could see I was better off spending the money on a new bike.Once I decided on a titanium bike, I started searching the hell out of it, and quickly discovered that they cost an absolute fortune.
It’s expensive material to begin with, and to manipulate it in this way with this sort of smoothness is no easy feat. Our unique anodizing process gives us the widest range of anodized titanium colours available- Generous clearance for 30mm tiresThe Reactor is intended to be the most race-oriented road frame in the No. A PressFit 30 bottom bracket and an oversized head tube follow current trends and allow the use of oversized bearings. The chainset features elliptical Q ringsBryce Gracey and Mike Smith founded the No. no.22 Bikes. 22, a Canadian born and now U.S.-based company Power transfer felt efficient, with minimum energy loss through flex and drag.No. We felt compelled to press on, especially on the descents, with good feedback keeping us informed as to the limits of grip and the frame’s capabilities.
