Then comes guitar. These are not comfortable when you first buy them or use them new. They donât invest in fancy boxes and tons of accessories on products like this, instead they reinvest into the actual product itself.I agree with Christopher. But where does the HD 58X Jubilee fit in all this? I have owned every Sennheiser model in the HD over ears series and enjoyed pretty much all of them, save for a few.The HD series was never really known for exceptional staging outside of the HD800. So if you don’t have a great amp, the HD58x is probably the better choice for you.The HD58x is a bit dry in tonality and lacks sparkle in the treble and a thick, broad sense of bass response of the HD650/HD6xx. I adore my own pair of 6XXs, so donât mistake this as a criticism of that headset. The HD58x is good for some tracks, the HD6xx is good for the rest. The HD58x Jubilee is one of the best ‘price to performance’ headphones in the HiFi world to date. In Senua’s Sacrifice, there are voices whispering in your ears. The HD6xx is wider by a significant margin, but the HD58x has better depth of field and realism in stage forwardness. Let’s say that I am biased and wrote this review just to please a group of people. I have heard it for about 5 hours total (since i loaned it from a friend of mine) and i didn’t notice much sibilance. So, when referencing the HD58x with this amplifier, the experience feels wildly different in a physical sense. It is quite standard, just a cardboard box, some paperwork, and a ¼ adapter are included along with a short, portable length detachable cable for the HD58x.That isn’t a bad thing. A proper Digital Audio Player (DAP) or a DAC/AMP is definitely required to get the most out of these headphones. As for the soundstage, i have both the hd6xx and hd58x and i can say that the 58x has a sloghtly wider soundstage than the hd6xx.
As for the reviewers you have mentioned most of … More on that later. Thanks for saying that! The HD580/HD600/HD660s and variants are all forward in the midrange by comparison to the relaxed positioning of the HD6xx and HD650. It is forward in the mids and has a good bass response. The dt990’s can be painful in many cases while that can’t be said at all for the others. Also, as you might have already guessed, there isn’t the slightest hint of sibilance in most of the songs. Again, in Sigrid’s “Everybody Knows”, Sigrid’s voice sounds so mellow and soft with the piano in the background playing a dark note with the occasional drum beats, the song was taken to a whole new level! It was the same with the HD650, my HD600, my HD580 and even my older favorite the HD485. So, you won’t have any type of fit issues like you had with the HD 598SE (where if you even sneezed, the headphones would’ve come flying off of your head!).OK. The same test with the HD6xx yields a superior sound quality everywhere when paired with a great amplifier. But, it is hyper boring and refuses to change and scale up with better sources. On an objective level, the headphone that has superior audio fidelity and quality, for the most part on the low end, is the HD58x Jubilee by a narrow margin. The Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee is a reinterpretation of the original Sennheiser HD580 and is priced at a very competitive $149.99. Don't forget at the release date 599 was way more expensive at 250$ compared to 150$ 58x. The same will happen with this HD58x.In terms of literal fidelity and purity, the HD58x Jubilee fairs extremely well. But you NEED that for the HD6xx.This HD58x Jubilee has very little sparkle factor. Playing APEX: Legends, thereâs a better sense of space than Iâve had in any gaming headphone in the last two years and thatâs not an exaggeration. Instead, they serve a different purpose. Each connects to the headphone with a two-pin connection. You informations are useless and you make guy like me spend almost 200 euro (i live in europe) beacause you described an hd58x with the words i’d use for an audeze lcd4…Now, I am going to compare the HD 58X to 3 other headphones which are HD 650, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm and my old HD 598SE. I love photography but we all know that Sebastian is the real guru around here, hah.The end result is a headphone that is distinctly more fun and energetic than the HD 6XXs.
If you are someone who likes a thicker heft to the entire sound signature, then this is not for you.
