Joining the fight against cancer and ride with us on September 30, 2017!As the largest cycling fundraiser in Atlantic Canada, the third-annual Ride for Cancer brings together a community of riders to accomplish the extraordinary to do something BIGGER for cancer in 2017.On Saturday, September 30, 2017, hundreds of participants will embark on an unforgettable and picturesque journey throughout the South Shore, riding in solidarity for today’s cancer treatments and tomorrow’s cancer cures.With five distance options including 100, 50 and 25km on the trail and 100 & 130km via the road, this one-day cycling event is for riders of all abilities and experience levels. Access to a breast seed brachytherapy program will help ensure that some early stage breast cancer patients – from every community across our province – can spend less time at the QEII undergoing radiotherapy. Since 2015, the LOVE THE WAY YOU RIDE team has raised over $135,000 net to help transform local cancer care at the QEII.
