Do you thing some one that shoots mirrorless and wasn't into sports would have given the same review. The D600 would get it, the D610 not, according to some of the dpreview logic on the G9 not getting one.I would suggest using something like RAWDigger for this kind of analysis as the histograms that LR and PS show you are not truly representative of what's in the file. The best high-end camera costing more than $2000 should have plenty of resolution, exceptional build quality, good 4K video capture and top-notch autofocus for advanced and professional users. I think silver is fair.IMHO I believe they use the same sensor, so it's just what they do with it...So what if the sensor is smaller than in X-Pro2, if G9 blows it out of the water in many ways? Watch our review to learn more. What's the best camera for under $500? I don't think I've ever done that. Instead of winning a battle of spec sheets, it focuses on delivering robust, high quality 4K video. Whether such differences are meaningful or not is a personal matter. It is far from perfect, but it is what it is.i think its because the gh5s is only 10 megapixels so the file sizes are really small which allows them to up it to 14 bit.How does the Fujifilm GF 30mm F3.5 stack up to other lenses for Fujifilm's medium format system? In comparison mode, I was horrified to find that the GX7 has both the better JPEGs and a better lowlight performance. It works, but it's definitely not as comfortable as a dslr styled grip that I've gotten accustomed to. (tested with sandisk 300mb/s and Lexar 2000x card)i sold all my mFT assets and bought into FF and APS-C systems. Actually, not even that, since you can have an FF camera for half the price of X-Pro2. In fact, in many ways, the G9 is Panasonic’s answer to the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, a high-end, stills-first mirrorless camera that targets enthusiast and professional users. Otherwise you will be banned to Siberia. Real world Hi ISO is no match to current APSC and FF ones. There's a lot more things that X Pro2 cannot do that G9 does, than the other way around.Well, the positive is, that it is at least clear how to get an Editor's pick, which you can't say from the arbitrairy and misleading 'awards' (just read their criteria, all explicitely subjective). The G9 also comes with in-body image stabilization.Gadget Review, founded in 2005, believes in true and honest reviews that will help any consumer, savvy or not, make the right purchase. All other Olympus cameras do not have the benefit of Panasonic’s fast DFD or PDAF, no matter if the lens connected is an Olympus or a Panasonic (or whatever brand) one.Not a huge difference, 1/3rd stop, but enough to cause small differences in what you can pull back from the highlights.B) Equivalently bright lenses are available (a challenge for Fujifilm/Hasselblad/Pentax 44 x 33 format, at present)The display mode switch takes a sec, but seems snappy once you are browsing. But for some applications small isn't better. Might be on the XPro2) haven't checked...Although the G9 ISO 100 is called extended, it actually has a very good highlight DR, more in fact compered to many cameras with "native" ISO 100.In real life situations I never encountered any problems what so ever with the G9.
