For $99.99, the Logitech G Pro is the same design, but without velour earpads, Blue Voice, phone cable or 3D audio. The main design elements are identical, like the oval, matte black plastic earcups with circular metal G logos on the back, the memory foam earpads and headband padding wrapped in faux leather, and the Y-shaped metal struts that connect the cups to the earband. The Logitech G Pro X is a sturdy gaming headset, with a metal frame and thick cushions on the headband and headphones. So maybe keep a backup set of headphones handy to give your head a break.
G Hub is very well organized, responsive and easy to use. I can pick out the general direction of incoming gunfire, which lets me know which way to run or aim. Normally, I’d be worried about losing the mic after unplugging it during some downtime when not working or gaming. The highest frequencies are dampened, and the headset relies on the upper mids and lower treble for definition. Logitech G Pro X Wireless out of the box The first thing you notice when opening up the Logitech G Pro X Wireless headset is just how well built it feels. That isn't the best way to connect the headset to your computer, though, since the G Pro X also comes with a USB sound card. There’s a forked metal headpiece that’s comfortably covered in a faux-leather material, which reminds me of high-end headphones from the 1980s. The opening acoustic guitar notes get plenty of string texture, and when the electric bass starts there's enough low and low-mid response to give the track its properly funk-infused gravitas. The opening acoustic guitar plucks have solid low-frequency resonance and a bit of higher-frequency finesse to give the strings texture. Different weapon sounds and other effects come through clearly, with a good balance that doesn’t reach particularly low into sub bass or high into treble. But I imagine the stitching may be purely decorative anyway. This headset also has a few advanced features, but you need to use a PC to access them. But personally, I found the Logitech G Pro X headset good in terms of comfort, but not quite great. It's a balanced sound that doesn’t excel at any element or reach particularly high or low in frequency response. If the faux leather gets a bit hot for your ears, the G Pro X Wireless also comes with a set of soft fabric earpads that are more breathable but isolate less outside noise. It’s a shame it’s limited to wireless sound over the USB transmitter; at this price, a wired option is expected.© 1996-2020 Ziff Davis, LLC.
Fortunately, the headset sounds excellent when playing music in non-surround mode, with only stereo audio playing through it.The Logitech G Pro X wired gaming headset combines a sturdy, comfortable design with a USB sound card loaded with customizable headphone and microphone settings.Overwatch also sounds detailed and full, with a fairy light touch from the DTS Headphone:X simulated surround sound. Esports pro presets are available for your mic as well, along with profiles to bring out your voice whether it's deep or high-pitched, or even sound like you're on AM radio. With the feature enabled, bass is dialed up significantly while the higher frequencies get noticeably muffled. Logitech G Pro X – Software With the companion Logitech G Hub software, you can customize the sound of the headset and microphone. And unlike most gaming headsets, there are no RGB lights or even … It features the Logitech G logo, and has a single indicator LED that flashes when looking for a connection and glows solid when the headset is connected. The G Pro X Wireless look and feel, appropriately enough, like a wireless version of the G Pro X. Their sound is solid. That last feature reduces the amount of outside noise blocked out and lets more of your game, movie or music sound leak out.Logitech’s virtual surround sound, which you switch on in the G Hub app, helps matters. At about 1.75 inches long and 0.75 inches wide, it’s more like a bulky flash drive than anything else.
