Each team made up of 10 to 12 players and games are played over 6 weekends with each weekend consisting of multiple games during the day, Jamboree style. All teams that are registered in a league will have priority registration for that subsequent league.Please note- individual registration may NOT be offered for all leagues depending on available space.So grab your friends and form your own team, or sign up for an individual's team and make some new friends! If coaches wish to receive NCCP Safe Contact certification through Football Canada, only these courses will be recognized.Coaches are advised to verify that they are attending an authorized offering of Safe Contact which can be done by contacting the BCPFA.

Our involvement in provincial and federal football associations illustrates our commitment to best practices with coach development, fair game play, player safety, and promoting football provincially and nationally; not just with in our community. Urban Rec Coed Flag Football on turf fields at UBC or grass in East Vancouver at General Brock Park (Slocan Field may also be used). We play 2 seasons per year.
After the 6 weekends, teams head to the Provincial Championships in Kelowna (U8-19) which take place over a full weekend at the beginning of June.
Surrey Flag Football League includes a men’s division, co-ed division (ages 18+) and in the spring, a youth division (Surrey Schools). We are proud of the fact that we have the largest Spring flag football program in BC and it continues to grow each year as more boys and girls are discovering the fun in playing flag football. Spring and fall seasons consist of 8 regular season games plus playoffs. Spring Flag is a 5 on 5, non-contact flag football game that runs through the VMFL & BCCFA during the months of May and June.
Flag Football is a non-contact game that promotes skill development, cardio training and mental strategy. This fun, social 6-on-6 league a one hour game per week. Flag KMFA offers 2 Flag Football programs through the year – Outdoor Spring Flag and Indoor Winter Flag. All teams are entitled, but not required, to play in the Provincial Championships. This is a great way to stay active, have fun and meet some great people.
