Thank you very much!Great review, I can totally relate to your story and opinion!Let me start off by saying that the article is well done. I would say Dauntless is for almost any player, as I've seen people with psychical disadvantages, play the game well.So I feel that your review is very accurate, if your looking solely at the game, but one of the things that makes Dauntless a great game, is also it's community, which I feel that if anyone is "struggling" with the game, can be a huge resource.Should have waited a day or two more.
This creates a LARGE window to get damage in or focus a part break. When I'm playing just alone it can turn into what feels like a drag in comparison.
Adding more monsters with wider tactics will make the game really soar. With that out of the way, I wanted to address some items in your article, and then if you have the time, let me know what you think. We obviously, live in an age now, where especially for video games, there are tons of guides/videos on how to do something. For me, Dauntless was a great way to jump in, have a good time for an hour or two, and then look forward to doing it the next day.I just unlocked the Maelstrom and can't wait to jump in :DI like your review I think it is well constructed and I wish I could see the game like you do. So I feel that your review is very accurate, if your looking solely at the game, but one of the things that makes Dauntless a great game, is also it's community, which I feel that if anyone is "struggling" with the game, can be a huge resource. Monster Hunter was too tough for me - I just couldn't dedicated that much time to learning the system and going deep into it. Me and many other veterans of Dauntless often respond to anyone in the Dauntless Discord if they have a question in #meta-discussion.I think a very huge hole in the game, is preparing new players for the change of difficulty. Queuing up for a few hunts as a team on discord really adds to the experience. Dauntless is also a free to play game. Tier 1-4 is basically the "tutorial" at this point, where slayers should get familiar with the games mechanics. If people are struggling with the "weight" of attacks, there are quite a few options, using faster weapons, using atk speed bonuses, or just good old learning the windows of opportunity in fights. Dauntless is a free-to-play co-op action RPG available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the Epic Games store. I've stated in many threads and guides, that Lanterns up to the Maelstrom, should be part of core progression. Best example: Embermane/Bloodfire.I'm sorry it isn't your cup of tea!Solid Review my friend, i might actually be looking for your articles in future now.Spoilers - I love this game. Again back to my #2, there are a ton of guides and videos on what cells/lanterns/gear to use, along with many builds.
